Due the the high cost of materials, fuel cells are too costly for wide acceptance. Quantum Energy is experimenting with proprietary technologies that would reduce the cost of the rare metals used in fuel cell construction, including low-cost methods for extracting these metals from seawater. Our goal is to make hydrogen and other fuel cells as accessible as everyday batteries.
